Whenever the world throws stones at you, pick them up and use those stones to build a paradise for yourself.
Growing up, I always imagined myself doing some high profile job and focused on building a beautiful career for myself. I always hated business because I thought I couldn’t deal with the stress and the risks involved. I also thought business owners are mostly shop owners who aren’t even sophisticated.
However, after growing up and being exposed to different people and experiences, I have come to realize that owning your own business is actually the best thing that could happen to a person. Imagine the luxury of time, money, and control at your own disposal. All your time and efforts would be invested into developing your own self and creating a better future for yourself and family.
A lot of Nigerian youths have been frustrated by the lack of good jobs. Despite having good degrees, and qualifications, some are still unable to get jobs. While a lot of other graduates are not even given the chance to compete for jobs due to bad grades which they got as a result of a terrible educational system and biased lecturers.
My advise to youths today is to throw away their frustrations and focus on starting up something for themselves. start your own business. As much as you spend time on websites submitting CVs and job applications, spend time too gathering money to start your business.
Your business idea should be viable and reasonable. and have an experienced person around to guide you. But stop being frustrated and start something.
As long as you are busy doing something, you’ll win. you’ll succeed. Make God your best friend, He’ll take care of you. He’ll bless all your efforts. he’ll never abandon you. Just trust Him.
