It’s very easy to get carried away in despair while counting all the things that are yet to happen. We always focus on the disappointments, doubting God’s love for us and wondering whether he has deserted us.
Whenever you find yourself doubting God’s presence as a result of things going on in your life, think of this verse; “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! (Isiah 49: 15)
The good and bad experiences that happen to you only end up blessing you at the end of the day; they prepare you for something greater. I understand how painfully difficult some experiences are but find comfort in the fact that it’ll be over soon and something big is coming.
God loves you and wants the absolute best for you and he’s with you always.
